dose someone know if the bolt pattern on the crank of a 351w changed between years? because i found a 351w out of a 69 galaxy for cheap. want to know if its the same as 80's crank. i know that the 302w's changed so just want to make sure thats all.

The bolt pattern has not changed. Balance weight changed. The old 351s are 28oz your roller 302s are 50oz.Don't ask, it's a midlife crises thing.

That is the balancer on the front not the crank. If you use the right weight, you can interchange all the balancers.
