Who knows transmissions?

So the one that came in the car didn't have 3rd and I had to take the back roads every where (which sucked balls).
When I bought the car it also came with a "rebuild" trans, so I finally got to putting it in on sunday. Started slipping out of the drive way, if that wasnt enought to piss me off I lost reverse this afternoon.
Now I have no DD again back to the big effing cost ya $30 to go work and back truck.
So I'm in a pretty big hurt to get a tranny put in it that is actually rebuilt and built to hold up to a good old fasion beating this time.

Anyone build transmission here for a good price? or I have some shit to trade too.

Does it shift into 4th/OD or won't shift out of 2nd at all? Hows the fluid look? You say it was trying to go into 3rd but slipping? Sorry I have very little AOD experience only TH350/700. Not a big fan..

Is the t-v cable hooked up at the throttle body. You will smoke a freshley rebuilt aod in a few miles if not. Also did you try adjusting it.


If the fluid in the new one is burnt it is to late.

what kind of shape is the car in you could sell it to me.

The fluid in both is shit now. The first one that come in the car didn't even try to shift in to 3rd it would work fine in 1st 2nd and reverse.

The "rebulit" one that came in the car was put in sunday and started sliping pulling it out of the drive way. I was pissed. But atleast it went through all the gears and I could start taking the hwy's again. Then yestreday afternoon I had no reverse.

I'm pretty sure I hooked that up but I dont think I adjusted it
But the fluid is shot

I'll let it go for a little cheaper now, but it also has some bbk headers and a bbk offroad X-pipe on it now and the MAC pro-dumbs will be here in about 2 more days

Yes.

You may have ground up some clutches, but there's still a chance adjusting it will bring the tranny back to life.

Do a search on corral for how to adjust it.
