What else would I need too run a supercharger?

Currently the cars pretty much stock, only mods are as follow; 70mm tb, 75mm mass air, bbk cold air kit (which would be gone of course) pullies, aftermarket shorty headers, stock h-pipe, force II catback, short throw shifter. I think the gears are stock as well. I'm looking for a mild s/c kit prolly the newer paxton SL which throws about 5-6psi. I want some more hp but dont want to throw HCI on it yet, just a s/c. Should I go with 42lb, 255lph fuel pump, and a tune? Plan on doing this within a year just need some ideas right now, thanks!

When I was running my a-trim on my car all I did for a fuel system was 42lb injectors, 190 LPH fuel pump and a custom tune. You don't need to go with larger injectors but it allows you to ditch the FMU.

The paxton unit, is a great entry blower (the SL or the Novi1000). Both can make 500rwhp without issue. 42# injectors, the 255lph pump and an upgraded MAF, and a good tune are all you will need to make it work. The 5-6psi kits usualy do not come with a bypass, so I recomend upgrading to the higher output kit, so that you get the bypass as well. 8-10psi on a stock motor is just fine.

thanks for input, if I went with a 8-10psi kit which brand should I go with? I like the paxton SL because its self lubricated no tapping into the oil pan. I havent seen paxton advertise a 8-10psi kit for the SL system yet. Another question, I have a 75mm pro-m mass air, thats set up for 19's do I need to get it recalibrated or can you guys adjust it on the tune or ditch it and get a different one? Starting to save my pennies, but you will see me in the future for a tune

you could probably get away with 36 lbs injectors they are cheaper but if you ever went with a bigger s/c you have to upgrade to 42's

Your right, it doesnt look like they have the Novi 1K kit anymore......I recomend you call them directly and talk to them. Let them know your looking for a kit with a bypass, and in the range of the Novi1000. They may still have some kits on the shelf to sell.

I dont know the range of yoru Pro-M meter. I can certainly tune with it, but I dont know if it will peg or not. If it pegs, thats the problem, and we need to upgrade to a larger meter..
