Has probably been driven hot and or cold for a while.
She came to visit me yesterday, started the car and let it idle for about 10min as we were planning on taking it to Fargo. Was near overheating with no heat. Took my car. Checked coolant this morning quick before work, none is resivor. Work was slow tonight so i told her to come in quick and i would check it out. Guage didn't move off cold and no heat. Coolant very low, I'm sure thermostat was sticking (also threw a code for bad t-stat), replaced stat/added coolant and the car started warming up normally with noisy top end engine noise. Tech at work jumped in and started to slowly rev the car to burp the system, died and would not restart, starting fluid a no go. Turns over easy.
Fuel pump is cycling. I'm going to check for spark. I do not have much time tommorow but I'm going to fvck with it in the morning... Any ideas what else to check quick? I would not be suprised if the motor is gone.
