So Casey, does the rear O2 sensor measure that .2 or .3 difference compared to the upstream to tell whether or not the cat is working?

That's typical of my industry as well, 8 years of in the field experience usually trumps 8 years of engineering school!

I think that is true of most industries. I see it in the low-voltage field as well.

Agreed . In my field as well. I notice to many young Engineers that come in right out of school and try and re-invent the wheel.
