    Oil Pumps

    what oil pump do you run in your 302 based engine? Which have you had good or bad luck with?

    melling stock replacement or high volume. doesn't matter. the high volume just makes max pressure faster.

      Melling stock volume. The only two reasons for hv or hp pumps would be a race only or forced induction setup which requires an oil feed. Otherwise it's lost horsepower.

        Did some research before I replaced the one in my old 5.0 F150: Melling stock volume. Priority main oiling for non race setups!

          We are going with I believe a precision pump in my 347.

          PM ds5dot. He will let you know which pump we are going with....

            Had A stock pump in mine, with a oil line feed blower, no issues, had 65PSI cold and around 50PSI warm.
            It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.

                  Didnt know that.. Makes sense thou that dont even make em for those itsy bitsy 8.2 pos's...
