Who uses SCT's Pro Racer Package?

Anybody running the PRP? I've got an XCalII and I'm thinking about upgrading so I have full control, looking for opinions on how good the PRP is? I've got some tuning tweaks needed now, and plans coming up (longtubes, etc..) that will require more changes, hate to keep paying small chunks for revisions when I could do it all myself....

I don't have it but i got to play with it on a buddy's mach back in az, though for the hassle of doing a/f tests at wot, i'd rather just strap it to a dyno and tune it there... if that's what you plan on doing it's great, but if you think you're gonna take the dyno completely out of the picture, i'd think twice about it. just my 2c.

I have it, and the last time I messed with it was when I deleted the IMRC butterflies in my intake runners... and then one time after that to modify shift points/IAC controls. I will definately be playing with it again in the spring when I put a stick in the car though, and will have to upgrade as well unfortunately.

I was going to say it wouldn't be worth it without a power adder, but it would be nice to play with the tranny....

It was nice to play with the transmission. Especially when you have a 3400 stall and you can go into full lockup in 2nd gear....

3 auto's later I had enough. 3 transmissions in ~4 years and 106k miles is a bit overkill... and hard on the wallet.

It was fun... but the only time at the track last year was spent putting 100 miles on it on the road course at BIR.... I still may put another auto back in it, but will be spending time beefing up the trans as much as possible before it goes back in...

dang. this was a 4r70w? usually i hear how beefy those things are, not how easy they break... damn.

Well, they changed some things in '98 to make them beefier... but I've had trouble verifying wether mine had those revisions or not since I know the original transmission is not in the car.
