Remote start Q

My friend has an 03 silverado, he wants to add remote start, he has factory keyless entry, what kind of options are avail to him, from easy to difficult?

The dude is sort of a neat freak, so, I am pretty positive he would only want 1 keyfob, no stock+aftermarket.

He would prob install it himself.

I had a Compustar installed last saturday and am happy with it. All of the functions of my factory remote work in the new one so I just ditched the factory one.

I would definitely go with a 2-way system.

I got a compustar in my cougar, a 1 way system, pretty bad ass.

The 2 ways are nice until you break the remotes lol...

i have 2way in my cars and dont use the factory fab ,and my vic didnt come with fabs because it was a squad

I don't even think the squads came with fobs, or the keys with the chip or whatever in them.

Some days I miss my old vic....

astro start is the only way to go!!! call chad 651-210-0506 ditch the factory fob though

Im going with compustar, $300 bucks but ill be damned if my ricer gets stolen.
