    Help

    having problems with hooking up stock temp sender. gauge will not read. tried getting a resistance reading between sensor and wire, didnt get anything. had autometer gauge hooked up, dont want it anymore, wanna go back to stock gauge, i did change the sender from autometer, to stock. whats going on? any help would be appreicated

        hmm, possibly faulty sender then? or maybe your gauge has a short in it somewhere that isn't allowing it to read from the sender. who knows. i just put my new gauges on and i couldn't be any happier, they are awesome compared to stock.

          Take the sensor out and check the resistance, then warm it up in hot water and check it again...

            just touch the end of the wire going to the sensor to ground. if it pegs the gauge you have a sensor problem. if not, look at your wiring and/or gauge.
