How to disarm viper alarm system?

The 93 Cherokee I picked up recently has keyless entry/alarm, apparently the "viper" brand. When I bought it, I had the guy disarm the alarm system since I have no fucking clue as to how it works. However, I let my mother take my truck for a spin last night, and for some reason she felt the need to play with the buttons on the keychain thing, and now the damn alarm goes off every time I try to get into my truck. I can stop it from going off and hop in and go, but every time I have to fiddle with it while the alarm goes off for a couple of seconds before I can stop it. This is highly annoying. Furthermore, I can't just cut the wires to the alarm horn, because when the alarm is set off, it also disables the vehicle from starting.

I'm just wondering how to disable it like the guy who sold it to me was able to do. I suppose I could completely remove it if someone could tell me where to look for the stuff to remove, but I kind of like the remote thing to unlock/lock all the doors. I rarely use it though, so I could live without it.

    Thanks for any help.

Alright, I think the guy that sold it to me might have done that to disarm it for me or whatever.

However, here's the kicker. The little button is located on the kick panel to the left of your feet on the drivers side. The button is now missing. I think it got kicked off somehow from someone else driving my truck (I don't remember doing it myself and I'd probably remember). The thing the button went onto is still there. Perhaps I can stick a paper clip or something down there to activate the button or whatever.

No, the vr6 was far worse.

Jeeps shouldn't have alarm systems. Grrrr.

Pull the button out and just cross the wires so it is permanently disarmed.

you might need to turn the ignition on, and then push and hold that button.
