    351 EFI Time....What to do? Need Ideas.

    I have this here 351 that MoreToyz sold to me. It's out of an F350 Econoline Van.

    Here's the details...

    Ford Racing 57 tooth 28.2oz imbalance fly wheel
    Ford Racing windage tray
    Ford Racing oil pump and oil pump push rod
    351 swap pan
    1985 351 heads with port work and 1.94 intake and 1.60 exhaust valve. They are decked to only have 67cc chambers versus 69cc's which is stock. Comp Cams valve springs.
    GT-40 Marine lower intake
    Explorer upper intake
    Factory 5.0 HO camshaft
    Ford Racing 30# injectors
    75mm Professional Products throttle body
    70mm BBK spacer (I had plans of port matching these...but I'm not going to)
    Mr.Gasket crankcase drag outs
    All sensors are NEW
    Long tube swap headers
    H-Pipe for long tube headers
    New ASP aluminum under drive pulleys
    ARP fasteners throughout most of the motor
    NEW MSD Dis-6 ignition

    He built this to be streetable.

    Well, the car I was looking at sold, so I think I'll drive my POS and do this fucker up.

    I can drop it in as is and hope for 300/350.

    Or I am thinking of pulling the heads cam and intake and spending the money to make more power. It already has 30 pound injectors and a matching mass air meter, so if possible, I'd like to keep them.

    I am thinking of some AFR 185's, a cam...not sure which kind as I have no researched it much and a better flowing intake.

    I need ideas of what to get that will be streetable and not be a bitch that I hate to even drive.

    I have an Eaton diff so that should be ok. The tranny will be the weak spot, but am thinking of going to a GeForce kit.

    Any ideas of what kind of power this thing will push once I get it in, and will the 30 pound injectors be too small for what I might do?

    If it gets to expensive I'll just drop it in, see how I like it and do that other shit later as it's all put together...complete.

    I would like to make with the add on stuff 400-500 hp. Think that's doable?

    P.S. Mods, don't move this as I want input from the people that do not troll the shop talk forum.

      400-500 horsepower will make your transmission look like a tin can subsequent to a shotgun blasting it at point blank range.

        i doubt you'd see 300hp with it as is and i doubt you'd see 400 with the 185s. i'd go bigger if you were to build it up.

        but if you are looking for 185s, i could probably part with mine.

                Go big heads and big intake, with a decent size cam. You will make good power and have good driveablity. Then if you ever feel like it, you can spray it or put a bigger cam in it.

                        yea I would do 205's. You wont make shit for power with 185's.

                            only if tony changed recently, he has 185s on his 351. not saying they're bad at all, probably ideal if you're shifting less than 6000 rpm. it depends on your goals, i bet you could still hit 10s on stock 185s, so i wouldn't say they won't make shit.

                              185 are ok to 400ci on a street motor with a cam to match. 205s are a lot better. Call Ed Curtis.
