    3" Dumps and Banging

I've got a single 3" exhaust that I fab'd up to run from the down pipe all the way out to the tail. It uses half of a Mac 3" cat-back for the muffler and the tailpipe.

My biggest bitch about it (and why I took it off) is that it keeps freakin' banging against either the tank or the bumper depending on how I tweak it.

    My questions are thus:
    1) Does anyone else have similar experience with the MAC 3" exhaust, or do you have experience with a 3" catback that doesn't have the bangin' issues that my current MAC setup has.

    2) Who's got a decent 3" dump setup. I might be better off just fabricating something myself but am interested in opinions.

I had the same problem with my dynomax 2.5 on the 81 I just welded the cat back to the body of the car then I conected it with stainless steel flexpipe.

I was really looking more for experience with the cat-backs, etc.
