Removing stripped bolts... need help!

OK, so I've got this bolt on my truck. It uses a flathead to get it on/off. The head is stripped. How do I remove it now?

Use a chisel and hammer on the outer edge so it spins out?

if you have room take a die grinder and remake the slot for your screw driver

Is this one of em that holds the injector pump top on??

if there's room you can weld a nut on the top of it and remove it like a regular bolt.

Nope, its one of the two that hold the fuel plate in. I got it by putting a flathead in that was too big, and tapping it in to force it to fit (like the breakoff screw and a torx bit). Then I put a new one in.

No welding or grinding. This is inside the injector pump. Guess I should have specified. Thanks though.

It would have been cake if some jackass hadn't tried to slide the fucking fuel plate forward, and instead stripping the head of that bolt. They must have tried to pull it off with a fawking screwdriver

they make reverse drill bits, they work alright. some times they can bite a little and back the bolt out.

We used to remove key lug nuts by pounding on a socket over it. ( dont ask why JK)
