i dont think ive ever read or spoken with anyone who actually cracked a housing. lots of axles and carriers but never an actual housing.... make sure to weld the tube on...

Mine has been "upgraded" by Richard at Mean Street Performance. 33 spline axles, spool, diff cover with support that goes out to axle tubes, welded tubes, straightened, 9" ends welded on with the big bearings, 5/8 axle studs (over-kill but they look cool), leaving on a trans-brake with a 250 shot out of the hole is the goal and I'm not concerned about the rear-end in any way.8.54 @ 159 mph on a 275 drag radial
5.43 @ 127 mph to the 1/8
8.91 @ 153 in True Street legal trim
Best 60' at Top End Dragways 1.22 on 275's
