Where can to get my radiator clean out??

She runs warmer then I'd like. I thought the factory gage might be off so I put in a number gage. Sitting at idle she will run at 180 which is the thearmastat thats in it. But run it up to 2500rpms and it goes up to the 220 maybe more but I stop at that. I have a new water pump and heat core. Anyway wheres a good cheap place to get it cleaned out or can I clean it out?

I've asked around and get mixed thought on the flush kit stuff. Some say it worked great other didn't work at all for them. Any have good results with that stuff.

do you have the rad out of the car.

        If you haven't.
I bet you 3 slaves that it's not plugged internally but externally. I just had to clean out the g/fs rad. Took it out of the car and it was caked with some grey shit where teh fans were. with a garden hose I was able to clean it all out and it solved all the overheating problems. I did the whole coolant sytem flush before and that didn't help at all.

no shit. red and green shit was leaking out and I was sweating all the time. was also a sweet mist in the air.

RAdiators get clogged externally far more than internally.

I'll pull it out and bring it in. It takes longer to drain the it does to pull. One places said $50 to bool it out.

                  Dont bring it in.

Pull it out of the car and spray it off with some pressure. Then just rest a garden hose in the fill hole or upper hose hole and let it run. I do this at work at least once a week for over heating cars. Its simple. If you really want to pay someone to do this bring it over to me and pay me to do it.

What size radiator do you run?

I just replaced my two row radiator with a three row, but the two row is still in great shape. It's a Modine and I bought it 3-4 years ago now, but my car is hardly driven and stored most of the time, and it was flushed at least once a year. If you're interested in something like that, just let me know. I guess I'm just not sure what the radiator is worth though??
