leather seating repair

Hoping someone might have an answer or an estimate

Looking at reparing two things

1. A cut (clean) roughly 3 inches long on a seat

2. A discoloration of leather roughly 2in in diameter. looks as though something got on the seat and belached it.

I guess I am wondering if I can even fix #2 and if there is someone on here that would know how to or could tell me how much it would cost to fix.

As for prob #1 you are pretty much SOL. a 3" clean cut in leather is VERY hard to repair and will never be the same. Best to get a new lower seat cover.


Problem #2 is a fairly easy fix. You might be suprised that your leather isn't bleached but is that dirty. leather doesn't get "bleached" easily. If it is discolored a color could be made to touch up the area...
