Hmm...I had no idea it was going to be a cross-ram. The lower looked very nice, about the straightest runners of anything out there, and with that upper its gonna be real interesting to see how it dyno's....
looks very intresting, reminds me of the V6 mainfold. ive never been to overly impressed with BBK stuff though, even though i have a few of there parts on my car anyone see the new Trickflow intake? the new box one, suppost to be pretty bad ass for boosted cars.
yeah i saw that lower intake writeup in the 5.0 mustang... but this is the 1st time i've seen the upper also. looks pretty neat. hopefully they'll get some dyno comparisons with it and other intakes soon... i just purchased a new intake but this looks pretty good, i think i want this one depending on the results.
I was just cleaning up the spacer. It looked like poo all dirty next to the intake so I had to clean it up a bit! I'm gonna fire it up tomorrow. Maybe tonight!
Originally posted by Macs Stang looks sweet paul, let us know how it goes. also, how much did the new intake cost ya, are you plannin on running some boost this year?
That's not Pauls car. It's BBKs I'm assuming.
I'm really not a fan of their products but it looks kinda cool at least. It really depends on the dyno results. I was expecting another V plenum or edelbrock clone. .. good to see something different.
I'm working on Wisc Dells! Yeah! Like that'll happen! I just threw the TB on and now my intake tube doesn't fit! I need a flexible tube or dump that spacer for a 1/2" plate. Crap!
The C&L from the MAF to the TB. Waste all that time cleaning it up and the Fker doesn't even want to fit. At least the TB looks nice too! Oh well, a plate is only $30 from Behind Bars. I'll order it tomorrow.
