Id say just go w/ Nitto 555's. In your price range, better than stock tires for the street, and have an aggressive tread pattern so at least your GT can LOOK fast

Nitto 450's Jim. they hook decently well, the rain traction is better then the 555r's.

555's and 555R's are not the same.

Anyways Iv had very good luck with the Nitto 555's, good wet weather performance, long life span and very cheep, I piad $440 out the door for a set at discount tire, and thats a 24/45/17, you should be able to get a set for less then that with the 16 inch dildos your got (sorry, not rippin on your car, just always have thought those wheels look like 5 dildos mounted to a hub)

If you want something that's relatively inexpensive and is a good over-all tyre. I give a high recommendation to the Firestone Affinity LH-30. I've had sets on two SHO's now and really like how they handle.

They handle sufficently well in all types of weather and they don't seem to be wearing quickly. For 265/55 r 16's it cost about $430 all around to have them put on my SHO.

most of the dunlop tires work well. If you can get a deal the sg 9000s are an awsome tire.
