I went to take my car out of storage yesterday and it wouldn't start. The battery is fully charged and it turned over just fine, but it never tried to fire. I could hear the fuel pump running when I tried to start it. I had a program in the computer but I backed it out with my Predator and it still did not fire. I reinstalled the program and still nothing. I did the whole disconnnect the battery thing a couple times. When I read the error codes with the predator it just showed the code for the custom tune. When I tried to see what the VIN number was using the programmer it returned all F's. This occured with both the stock program and the predator program installed in the ECU. To me it sounds like my computer died. What do you guys think? If that is the case I am going to be pissed because I have already replace the ECU once and had to pay for it out of pocket because of having a chip on the ECU. What would cause a computer to go bad? Last time the car was driven wasn't even 3 months ago. I can't go back to my dealership and try to work them for anything either because American Ford is not in business anymore. Any suggestions?

Theft light is not flashing. I am not familar with how to get codes from the car without using the programmer. How do I go about doing that? And what am I looking for?Last edited by players02GT; 03-19-2007, 01:33 PM.:vader:

The trip meter thing doesn't seem to show any error codes. The Predator indicated a code of P1000 which is OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete . Any suggestions?Last edited by players02GT; 03-19-2007, 06:06 PM.:vader:

p1000 is nothing, but check under the hood and make sure there is no damage to any wires and that everything is plugged in, mice like cars that are stored for winter, it doesnt take long to chew some wires to keep that thing from running
