In's and Out's of Trick Flow Iron Hi Ports ??

Lee is looking at a set of Hi Ports for this 418 I am putting together for him. They are older Trick Flow Cast Iron High Ports.

I know nothing of these heads so I was just wondering if they interchange with all aftermarket stuff or what. (i.e Headers, Head Gaskets, intakes, engine acc.)


Also how well do they flow? The ones we are looking at have been stage 2 ported by fox lake.

Here are the stock specs , the aluminums are just newer copies of the old Iron ones. They flow about the same as a twisted wedge stock. But if Fox Lake has had their hands on um , I would buy them.

They should but they MIGHT need a different header. Best bet is to just call Ron Robart at fox lake. He is the trick flow god. Besides if they truly are irons stage 2'd from ron, I would snap them up quick, they would be vicious on that new motor

Fuck yeah, My buddy in alabama runs his car as a daily driver with a solid roller. Put on about 15000miles a year. His car has also run a best of 6.08 in the 1/8 mile. Nother reason why im switching over this year.

Jeremy you have to get Lee to buy all of the parts, hoarde them with you so he can "pick it all up at once" .... then we grab everything and go into hiding.... i think i may have to look it over when im there friday. maybe he wont notice the grey primer parts we swap over
