    Headlights

I want to replace my headlights up front since both are cracked and the marker lights are cracked as well.

I have been looking around and found some diamond cut headlight kits which is basically what I want, but recently I haven't been able to find them. I do not want the projector style, I think those are just ugly as hell. I noticed the 1 piece setup that has the diamond cut, but I am not sure how nice the 1 piece looks. Has anyone seen or used the 1 piece design?

I will be using an HID kit this summer as well to light up the road.

    Thanks,

    Tim

I agree with OEM quality. Nothing beats that. I guess my only reason going with a diamond cut reflector is to help brighten things up by focusing the beam better. The HID's will obviously help a ton, but I think why not go nuts with it and get a lense that will really reflect the HID's well.

one piece is ugly as hell. I just picked up the reproductions from 50resto for 80 bucks. They're nice enough for me but you sound like you're thinking about fancy schmancy stuff.... I really like the one's on John Garner's car but it takes a really clean body to pull off diamond clear lights the right way, if you know what I mean.

True. I might just save the $ and get the oem lenses. I still want HID's though because the stock lighting sucks.

Stock lighting probably does suck. It is at least a decade old(obviously more).

HIDs are absolutely the best now, but they only really work like they should when they are in a projector housing. Otherwise you might look like the ricer honduh next door with blue bulbs.

The key to HIDs is being able to project the light to where you want it, if you dont do it that way you will piss off some people. No doubt your view will be better but that is a lot of light going in other road goers eyes if you dont have projectors.
