    Nitrous Users

Im thinking of selling nitrous out of my buddys garage, id sell it for less then anyone in town and the location is less then 10 min from midway so late night fills would be a go for anyone that finds them selvs out at unconvient hours, what I need to know is how many people would be willing to buy from me, the station im using will be one with a pump.I need to know because it is really expesive to rent/lease the tanks and if im the only one using it it will not pay for it self, price would be as cheap as i can go, wich im guessing is around $3 a pound, price will also depend on how many people will want to buy it,the more tanks i buy the more the lease starts to pay for itself thus making the price go down, I simply dont want to loose money on this, Im not trying to make money I just have an oppertunity to let me and few others get this stuff for alot less then any shop sells it for. Im never out of town and almost never more then 20 min away so anyone looking to buy some could just call my cell and it could go from there well let me know if there is any intrest

i'd be proud to support a mustang driver... shit, the shop by my place charges 4.25/pound.
however, i'm not around midway too much, but when i am, i'd give you some business.

Myself and a buddy of mine would probably frequent ya as long as the quality is good and everything is on the up and up. Personally I wanna find someone who can hook up the deal on Race gas. I'm damn near ready to start selling it out of my garage.

well when it comes to nitrous in the twin cities just about all the shops get it from the same place, then they mark it up more then 50% and you cant blame them, they have rent to pay and staff paychecks to write, but i just cant see paying that much for something you use so much of, sure a buck less a pound doesnt sound like much but say you fill your 10 ld bottle 5 times a year, thats 50 bucks and most lickly youll fill it more then that. also i cant think of how many times iv been with people late at night and they see a car they have wanted to race forever, but then they remember there bottle is dry, well it would be 30 mins round trip from porkeys, thats a major plus, i just need to figure out if i could get rid of enugh to pay for the lease on the damn bottle, its 375 to lease one and i forget the dialy rental fee, so yeah they get you but still it is cheaper in the long run and it would be so nice to have it at your finger tips 24/7, say your leaving for a race on sunday, most rips open at 12 if they open at all sunday, and you dont realize your bottle is only half full till 7 on saturday, well your sol, shops are closed your eather stuck trying to find a fill station near the track or seeing what the car runs on motor. this all leads to my next idea, how sweet would a 24/7 auto parts store be, i mean think of how many nights you sit there at 10 and find out that in order to go any further youll need a part, people would drive from all over, it would be great

I agree... the big shooters would love the dollar or two off!

I also love the idea of an all night parts store... key is having the suff in stock though. If it had a good inventory that would be sweet.

I posted on a different forum but I am definitely interested. When you say the station will have a pump, you mean it will actually evacuate everything out of the bottle, and then refill?

$375.00 to lease a bottle? No, the first bottle is $179.00 with a deposite if i remeber right, Everyone after that is $130 or $140 with a bottle exchange. Go see Mark at Toll welding in Lakeville and he can set you up.

I did go to toll, its 375 for a lease or 19 cents a day for rental, but your right about the price per fill, the fisrt one is more because the bottle is empty after the first fill it will only empty 85% of its contest, the other 15 stays in there so on a 60 pound bottle you will only get 50 pounds or so,
