Rim and tire size?

Probably a pretty easy answer but i clipped a curb last week and fucked up one of my rims and both tires and i was wondering if you can (fit a 255 series width tire on a 16-7" pony rim) otherwise i just have to go with the nitto nt555r extreme drag radial tires like i had on them before. any help would be nice?

It’s going to bulge out the sides. 16x7 Pony wheels with 245/50/16’s bulge pretty bad. If you don’t mind that go for it.

i had 245/50/16's on the back before and they didn't look bad so i guess i just go with the same nitto's.thanks!

Depends on the tire. Some will, some won't.

i run 255 50-16 firestone wide oval's and the old 275 50-16 futura ultra z's with no issues on very aggressive street driving

i think firestone is right on, bf goodrcrap is under specs, does vary with mfg.
