If it is on the back of the intake then that is the provision for the PCV. You need to retain your gasket, and filter from your stock intake. You'll see what I am talking about when you pull your lower. The filter is more like a circular screen.
yes that is where the pcv valve goes. If you look on your stock intake it should have the same exact port on the lower. If it doesn't then you need to get a hold of the pcv gromet (gasket) ,the circular mesh screen and make sure that there is a baffel under the intake otherwise you will be burning oil like none other because the pcv will suck up oil and it will go down through your intake and into the combustion chambers, therefore burning oil and creating a smoke screen.
the lower intake does have a baffle directly under this hole.
will the entire pcv system by available at any parts store or dealer only?
The gromet and mesh filter you might have to get at the dealer. I am not sure on those two. But the PCV valve and vacuum line you can get at any autoparts store.
by chance any have a diagram to show me the routing of these?
does this hose goto the pcv tube on the oil filler? or somewhere else?
I have the exact same intake you do.
First of all, I'm not running a screen and I don't seem to have a problem with it for some reason.
But to answer your question as quoted above, the hose from the pcv valve will go to the upper plenum. If you are looking at the front of the intake, then you would need to route a hose from the center of the back where the pcv valve goes to the valve thing hanging down from the upper plenum on the back right corner on the upper plenum. The valve thingy I am talking about you should have also gotten with the cobra intake, it just screws into the bottom of the upper plenum, towards the back of the part that hangs over your drivers side valve cover. That's what the PVC hose connects to.
Hope that helps!
P.S. Your Cobra intake does not have a built in EGR spacer or anything. Don't attempt to hook up coolant lines to it.
