correct me if im wrong. but the computer is the little silver box behind the radio? i just bought a chip from cleanlx but i see no where to plug it in. does anybody know where im supposed to look? or could post a pic? thanks

Yah man you have a pm regarding how it plugs in to the computer, but first you'll have to get to it, and yes it is behind the passenger side kick panel.

ok i got to it but theres not enough room for the extra plug. is there any way i can move the computer up or do i have to start cutting the bottom with a die grinder?

Put the grinder away, there is enough room for it to fit once the chip is installed. Pull the computer all the way out, and then look it over.

I had it in mine with the kick panel installed. It can fit.

yeah dude quit being retarded, there is room! i also had the same chip in my 89 before and fit fine.
there is a bracket on top of the computer, you might have to loosen up the screw that holds it, but i don't remember having to do that. it should just fit snuggly up in there. and don't be too rough with that computer.
