I was doing an oil change tonight on my GT and saw it was a little shiny in back. Lifted the back and saw grease thrown all over the place. I have never touched the differential so it has the stock gears in there and read that it is relatively maintenance free. Guess not. The grease is leaking out of the front right where the driveshaft connects. I don't know the name of the part but for some reason pinion seal comes to mind. Is that what I need?

That is the pinion seal, and they are a reletively comon failure.. Usualy cause a seaping leaking rather than a dripping leak.Originally posted by Double G View PostI was doing an oil change tonight on my GT and saw it was a little shiny in back. Its actualy not a bad repair to do. If you would like bring it to Hitech Motorsport, we can preform the repair for you for .5hrs labor plus parts.. So roughly $60 labor, and about $10 for parts.I send myself PM's so I roll with a full inbox! Sweet35th style!
