    Used Torque Converter opinions?

    Here's my dilemma

I have achoice between a used converter with less than 5,000 miles on it...or a new converter.

I would save about $170 buying the used one and the guy sounds real honest.

    What would you do?
Do you have any experience with using a used converter or know anyone that does?
    Problems??

Just spend the extra money this way you know what you have.
Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

Yup... I agree. I never would buy a used converter unless it was from a VERY VERY close friend and you know everything about it's life. IMO the piece of mind and the fact that you will have a factory warranty is worth far more then the hundo you would save with the used one.

        converter

It would cost at least the whole price to have it cut apart and checked.Midwest converters is in mpls south area. They did mine last winter.Great work.Just my two cents.
