    Injector Cleaning

I have a set of LT1 injectors that someone left sit for 4 years with gas in them. I need to know who can clean them locally. They are off of the car. Thanks for any info.

Should I hit them with some voltage to get them to open when spraying them down? Thanks.

There's a carb shop on White Bear Ave right by Napa. They do injectors too.
When we got to my place, I already had a candle burning. It was by "Glade", which I think you pronounce like the singer Sade, because it is an exotic candle that smells just like real pine.

I don't know if you want to hit them with voltage, if I remember right injectors are fired by grounds????

So the ground is triggered, you still have to supply a positive signal.

I had read an article on a DIY injector cleaning, pretty much what they did was hook up a hose to the other end of the injector, the side you would push into your intake or whatever, and they ran an old fuel pump to that hose, and then cycled voltage to the injectors.

I can't find the link but it went into more detail on how to clean them yourself, pretty much back flush them since there is a screen in the tip of the injector.

You could prob fire them and see if they are plugged with a pressurized fuel source from them tip and knock all the crud loose...
                No sig for you.
