I would bet you have wasted $400 on sillier things,thats what my intercooler and piping cost me,$40 to have the piping welded together so I did not have to use all of those silicone couplers and a couple day's working on and off fitting everything.

I know your setup is the ticket for my cousins set up with a bigger blower down the road, just for us guys with no brains as one poster on here put it, I don't have the tools or knowledge to fab up a intercooler that nice. So it is going to cost us the 1500$ for the only one on the market right now and I think if we took it somplace and had it done custom it would still be close to that $$.. So that 1500$ is money well spent someplace else to gain more of a ET, bumper cover, fender or car length on the street.

I think you did the right thing for the money your spent and it sounds like it works awesome, and its your car, I wouldn't let anyone tell me what to do with it. What upset me about this thread is someone that doesn't even own the car saying there will be no pictures and blah blah blah being posted and none of us have brains... I thought the purpose of this board was to help others out at least in the shop talk section and with that comment I had to say something....

Dont mind BS, he was dropped a few times as a kid. And he is old , so some paint chips with lead may have been involved also.

If my car was better set up suspencion wise It may be a mid 11sec car maybe. I think the inconsistency comes from me driving and me shifting 5 times during a run. The info on the intercooled fox and how it help run back to back without looseing power to high IAT is good info for us fox guys so why do we not help out and show us what it looks like and how much time he has in it, and what problems he ran into.

Thanks for the pics, Russ and I were looking at mine the other night and that is totally differant routing of the intake tube then I anticipated. And Scott you really need to come out of your shell , I didnt even see your car at the picnic. LOL I definitly want to see it now.


PS that set up would EASILY allow you to switch to a blow thru style MASS AIR also, then the computer would be seeing the intercooled air This also would make for an improvment.

I also have the means to get that aluminum tubing and or have it welded, we need to talk. Feel like giving BTI some compitition??

My car would be WAY more easy, Tubular K member , no AC condensor, no power steering, no fog lights, LOTS OF ROOM! Well you saw it I am sure.

Looks Trick, we where also there, but got there way late cause of my car blowing a tire and then the hassle that followed trying to find a new set. I know my cousin looked over all the cars that he could before people started leaving, funny he didn't pick yours out cause he is very good with attention to details. Good thing cause I am not.....

Billy I dont think there is anyone here , or that I have met that I couldnt be "BUDDIES" with. I have lots of friends that I dont agree with or have the same opinions as I do.
