Anyone know how to get the moldings that run down the door to flaten out? Mine are slightly out of wack. I thought I heard somewhere to take the metal strips out of them?
Yes, you will have to take the metal strips out. That is what I did, I think Nick helped me with the mouldings. I remember using a heat gun as well, it takes a little while.

Yes, with the metal strips still in, they have a tendancy to curl. With them out, they will lay flat against your door with no problem. I used 3M double sided adhesive to attach them to the door. Been on for 3-4 years and no sign of problems yet.

Yes it's an old trick that works. Get a heat gun, not some pussy hairdryer, but a big "fuck off" linoleum stripper. Lay it flat on the garage floor, metal strip facing towards the ceiling. Then heat it up moving it back and forth making sure you do not melt it. Take a needlenose pliers, and get it worked up from the beginning. Ever see a sardine can, how you peel the lid back? Do that with the needlenose. Twist the metal strip around the pliers while heating. Get your gf to do the heating or the peeling. Works better with two people. Alternate heat in 5 inch intervals sweeping back and forth taking care not to melt it. Take awhile, but they will lay flat for you forever with some good moulding tape.
