    Noob question... curiousity

Do performance parts work for both 87-93 5.0s and 94-95 5.0s, or are they different motors, other than having the same displacement?

intakes are different. I think you can get a 86-93 intake on an SN95, but there is some reason that elbow is there. I forget why.

you can use a fox intake on a sn95 but you have to get that elbow adapter thing.

they actually changed the cams alot on the foxes, very small differences. but all cams will work in either engine.
            different headers too.

True. I forgot. The SN95 has that fitting up by the head. I have no idea what so ever what the hell it's for.

sn95 intake wouldn't be useable on a fox without different throttle cable and bracket, cai, and maybe some other stuff? otherwise yes.

outrun, i'm pretty sure that fitting is for egr.

the intake on sn95's and mn12 tbirds were low profile because of the lower hood line. i think the valve covers are shorter to, but idk for sure..

No idea why the tube is external on 94-95's though...

Hood would not clear the EGR style the fox has?

That, or because I think they used the intake from thunderbirds or something. Or maybe, they used that intake from thunderbirds to alleviate such hood clearance problems!

                          BRILLIANT!
