but anyways, when i was out at the shop that car was still there, and all i can say is that tranny is beefy as hell. also, kind of off topic but you should check out the suspension on that bitch, can you say road hugger? damn, all i can say is that car is sweet as hell.

Its beefier ehh, so whats beefier about it? I'm looking at the bench rebuild information and I don't see any differnt part numbers listed for a T-56 out of a viper compaired to a F-body.

how much extra does it weigh over a tko? and how much power can they handle?

The blue-printed viper t56 has a steel 3-4 shift fork instead of the crack-prone aluminum 3-4 fork that's in the camaro t56, the viper has carbon-fiber blocker rings as well which the camaro version does not. Doesn't the camaro t56 have a 27 spline output shaft...the viper has a 30 spline. The torque rating for the viper t56 is 550 lb.-ft., I'm not sure what the camaro t56 is rated for.

is he talking about Willy Deans Cobra? I know he has a full MM set up alsong with a viper T-56 and street twin I beleave, if he is that car is nuts, went for a ride it in, simply awsome! and im glad its in the hands of good people, him and his son Cedric are two of the nicest guys I know

you guys at DB need to get him to hand over the keys so his Saleen... explorer that is can get a few mods

Yep...that's what he's talking about........Willie's Cobra is the $hit.....IMO....that's the ultimate Mustang!!! About the Explorer.....DB is working with him on that.

LOL the specs I have for the rebuild is the same LOL - I don't know if thats good news for GM guys or if that sucks for the Mopar guys.
