    Stock wheel sizes/backspacing

    First question:

Mustang V6 wheels are 5 lug 4.5 bolt pattern, 15" wheels. Are they 7" or 8" wide?

Secondly, what is the backspacing on the V6 wheels?

I guess my specific question would be if there are any Mustang or Ford truck wheels that are 5 lug 4.5 bolt pattern, 15x8 with something like 4 inches of backspacing.

Mine is a 2005 Mustang V6 wheels. Backspacing is 6.77". Check it out at Partstrain. They have one of the most complete product stocks. Plus, the quality and performance are really..wow!

I have a set of '05 v6 wheels if you want to borrow one to test fit, but the backspacing is huge on them...

Don't know if that's what you wanted or not.

Thank you for the offer Dan! But I am pretty sure 4.75" of backspacing will be my max. I just thought it would be cool if v6 Mustang wheels ended up being 15x8 with around 4"-4.75" of backspacing. I'd be putting on some 31x10.5 tires on them and slapping them on a Cherokee. Ah well. No +100000000 pimp points for running Mustang wheels on the wheeler for me.

If anyone knows about any Ford truck wheels that meet the criteria that I might be able to find for cheap, please share. Summit wants almost 40 bucks a wheel.

Uhhhh...there are about 70,000 stock wheels in junkyards around the country for that. There are also some wheels up in the hayloft of the barn. Noob.
