HELP ME

I have a 89 ford bronco that came with a 5.8L new. somewhere down the line it ended up with a 5.0ho out of a mustang, and the motor is shot.I picked up a 95 F150 5.0L with 50k on it. I know that the fireing order is different and if I read right (see link) all i have to do is put in a H.O. cam and it will fix my problems.

or is there a different way i can change the fireing order with out getting a different cam. if going with a HO cam is my best bet does anyone have a stock HO cam laying around that they want to sell me.

Post a wanted ad in parts section...should be plenty of stock cams around...

Yes the only way to change that is to replace the cam.

because the stock 351 has the same firing order as the 5.0ho but it is different then the truck 5.0 i don't know why ford did this but it sucks.

i was reading and i saw a few guys that have not change the firing order but they have rewired the 4 cyl that are different so they jsut swoped the injector from the 3 to the 5 and the 4 to the 7 so the computer thinks it is working right but the motor is firing on the right cyl. does this sound right could i do this and all will be fine.
