      Hows your PTV clearance with that and what did it do to your mpgs? Did you go to 3.73's or 410's? Sorry I'm trying to figure out what I wanna do here.

          I asked him about PTV clearance because some of the more aggressive grinds that you can get through CompCams can require you to use notched pistons so that your valves don’t interfere with the pistons (that’s bad ). From everything I have read off Stangnet and Modular Depot this issue does not happen if you use VT cams but it can happen on certain CompCams even ones they say you shouldn’t have that problem with. I’ll go look back and see what the grinds are that people have problems with. I guess he’s grind was fine with stock pistons for PTV clearance.
          I also took advantage to get more info on what he got for his other mods.
          Youlost said that the Plenum, cat back, and pulleys netted him an about 15 hp otherwise we had basically the same mods. I dynoed at #1 Roofer bone stock at 232rwhp (I’ll post torque later when I see it again) when I first got my stang for a baseline. I installed CAI, 70mm TB, Mac LT’s & gutted Pro Chamber and then dynode last year at HiTech and I had something to the order of 246rwhp.
          Youlost also said he made the 270rwhp with no tune and just a Steeda T/A. He did not suggest a Timing Adjuster if you are going to get a tune because all that can be done with a tuner so the T/A would be wasted money.
          He’s another happy 4.10 gear user, so that’s one more vote for that route.
          He said before the gears he could still get 25-26mpgs and 24-25mpgs after gears on road trips with all his mods. He also promised to let us in on what his mpg’s are like now with his cams installed.

          I’m thinking I am going to talk the wife into going down to rock falls this weekend with me to see how he pulls in the quarter mile after all these mods.

                              That refers to the fact I have no Cats, Someone told me once that you can get them with hiflow cats. But sometimes people tell me things that they know little about. Such as, until today at Hitech because I believed bs that people told me I thought that there wasn't much to gain from a catback on a 4.6L. After they tunned my car and added the UDP's we decided to see if the catback was only worth 1-2 hp like I kept hearing. Sweet35th dropped the catback off and made one last pull. There is 7-8rwhp and 5-6rwtrq to be harvested, Damnit! I would have done it YEARS ago if I knew that.

                              BTW, since my last post I have added a BBK 70mm TB, Accufab Plenum, Mac Underdrive Pullies, and an awsome dyno tune from Hitech.
                              Best numbers from today with the catback on.
                              262.5rwhp-297.59rwtrq
                              With out catback..Hrmm
                              269.29rwhp-303.45rwtrq
                              I'm very pleased
                              This means if I get the right cams I am right in line for 300+rwhp all I need is 30-35rwhp.

                              Edit: As of June 17th I've pulled a 13.914 @ 99.64mph with some room for improvement.
