Well, the bonnie may not make it. I took her in for break repairs and they say it'll cost around $1500 (with the cheapest parts). Sounds like I need new rotors on the front, new breaks, possibly new master cylinder and new hoses. Got a few leaks in front and back.
So I have a few questions:
* Can anyone help with lowering this price at all with parts or labor?
* Anyone interested in buying the car to do their own inexpensive fixer up?
The car is a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville with (I think) 125k miles. The engine is rock solid and started no problem in -10 degree weather. It's a great car but I paid way less then $1500 for this thing. With the approach of spring I'm not so worried about getting rid of the car. I think next winter I'll make a better investment in a $3-5k car that will be more reliable in the long run.
