We sell CAT at work and have had good luck with them, they make off brand parts which are just as good as name brand. Shit there flywheels are sfi approved and are like $39.00, fluid balancers are sfi approved and start at $89.99.
Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

You get what you pay for. Most of the cheaper aftermarket rods are cast overseas (China) but the reliable ones (Scat, Eagle, etc...) are machined in the U.S. I don't know if Cat is, and have heard from a couple engine builders to stay away. Again, you get what you pay for....does anyone really think you can get a high quality SFI balancer for $39.99?

                          oops...

There's still no way I'm gonna stick a few grand into an engine build and put a bargain bin cut-rate balancer on it, I'd rather run a stocker......

I feel the same way myself and you would be sursprised at how many BB mopar guys with $10k+ into the motor will buy the $159.99 sfi fluid filled dampner from us. Never had one come back but still.....
