    Raptor Shift Light

I ordered a Raptor Shift Light. Where do you guy's suggest mounting it? I'm looking at putting it inside my AC vent for the stealth appeal.

I'll have it set at 6000 rpm, so if it's flashing it'll be for good reason.

Mount it right in between the tach and speedo. That's where I put mine.

I've looked at pictures of that and I don't like it. Then there are the people that will look in your window and say, "hey look he's got something I should steal!"

If you want to maximize the use of your shift lite, put it in your direct vision. That's why I put it there.

Here is what it looks like in the vent.

My minds not made up yet to put it in the vent yet though.

I don't like it there. Seems odd and out of sight. I wouldn't waste my time putting it in the vent when its so far out of view. I doubt hiding it makes less chances for it being stolen unless you leave your car unlocked alot.

Joe you would hardley be able to see that during the day.

Even I have a tough time seeing my shift light during the day even though it is just to the right of my head.

I am going to probably move my shift light to right in line with my eyes. It is to hard to look over and see if the shift light is on when your going ludacris speed.
