    Stock vs 3-core

how much better will cooling be with a 3 core brass radiator versus the 1 core stocker?

Also, what about size? will I have to worry about my fan hitting the water pump?

also, where are some places that I can find a good radiator for a decent price? www.radiator.com has some sweet deals, but I thought I would shop around a bit.

Yup. Got the same thing. All I had to do was bend out the radiator brackets on the top a bit and it fit fine.

        how well does it cool?

what water pump, thermo and fan are you running?

also are you using under drive pullies?

and most important, what is the model number

How well? German Guy and I doubled up in my car for auto x and we ran my car a total of 16 times around the track brutally. Temp never rose. Plus, when I took my old one out, it was full of holes and just needed to be replaced. I am sure I would have been fine going back to a stock one, but stock sucks.

Stock pump. 180 stat. Stock fan.

I forget, it's been a long time. I suppose if you REAAAAALLLLY need it, I can scrounge through my receipt box for it.

I found this at the bottom of my box. I paid 179.00 I guess, and that was on 7/21/03.

Here's a number that was listed as well.

Im running a 3 core out of a 76 Cobra II mustang. A single speed electric fan. And the stock thermo ( i think 180)

i dont think it ever got above 140-150 unless it was 90+ out and the car wasnt moving.

Benny runs the motorsport aluminum one. The 3 core brass you get from every local place is gonna be the same. Go to Dirty Daves, I picked up my 3-core brass Modine from him for like $120 I think. When I was telling about my car last night I was trying to tell you its an issue with MY car, I'm almost positive its not the radiator. If you don't wanna spend big money than go for that one. I think if you call him and tell him you have a 91 mustang and want the 3-core option he'll know exactly what you want. Otherwise when I went to PepBoys (Benny is confusing the Checker deal for the old PepBoys $100 deal back in the 90s) I had to run around with the counter guy and say I had a 79 Fairmont with the heavy duty cooling option.

You can tell Dirty Dave anything and he'll have the part number memorized, what it is and everything about it and whether or not he has one in stock. He'll also share his views on 10% profit sharing vs. farming.
