    Carb/ Nitrous Questions

Installing new NX kit have some questions about the micro switch mounting on a Holley carb. Am I missing something? Is there a easy way to mount that thing or is it one of those things that you just have to make work? I am going to admit that the carb thing is new to me and frankly a little frazzled by it. If you have any suggestions, a trick that i'm missing, or just to say "Dumb ass" let me know. Also another question, my old carb spacer had a hole for vac. how do i get vac. from it now with the NX plate. FYI don't have enough room for both spacers.

you get a carb with the vac. port in the carb... or eliminate your power brakes...

as far as the micro switch I am a lazy ass... so I would just tape it to your shifter handle, then all you have to do is squeze.

I don't know what you need the vacuum source for, but if it's for your vacuum advance, you can typically connect that to the vacuum port next to the right front corner of the Holley baseplate. This is manifold vacuum and will work well for your vac advance.

          Hope this helps..

Yep, you got the idea but you must not own a fox stang or else you would not be telling me to take brakes away New carb.... hoping for more options than that. Think it's possible to tap a line in the NX plate?

did it come with a lil mini bracket? just bend it and make it work or get some sheet metal. this switch is VERY important, you do NOT want to be running nitrous on part throttle. Make it work whitie!

I have a couple of really cool brackets for the micro switch, Edelbrock makes a slick one that works off of the secondary linkage. Compition products (?) makes an even better little bracket that is fail proof. Well work the $15-$20 to make it work correctly.

IIRC MAS has the Edelbrock or maybe a NOS carb switch bracket in stock....
