    Fuel pressure regulator

I'm converting CFI to carb on my 'vic. What kind of fuel pressure regulator should I run with my stock in-tank fuel pump to get pressures down closer to carb-friendly? And keep in mind I'm a cheap SOB- hence the reason for the carb rather than converting to SEFI.

    Thanks in advance.

I might have a free adjustable regulator for you if you do not need the vacuum port like I do. I will let you know. As long as it would work on your car, I have no idea if an EFI regulator is the same as the carb one.

EFI and carb regulators are not compatible, ~40psi operating pressure vs. ~6psi operating pressure...

I think you'll need a carb pump, the pressure required is too low to throttle an EFI pump down that far. Look in the Summit catalog, you can get a Holley carb pump and regulator combo for like $105, something like.....

If the link doesn't work put HLY-12-802-1 in the search. This style of pump doesn't like to lift fuel, so you may want to have a fitting brazed into the tank down low. If there's a direct replacement carb pump that drops into the stock location maybe someone will chime in about it...
