    seat of the pants feel?

my car is 100% stock but im slowly thinking of changing that.
i was thinking about switching out my slow 2.73's for 3.73's.
what with the sotp feel be just from that switch?
and what do you think will be the cost for parts and labor?

    thanks.

if you change to an eaton and get ford gears it cost about 400 dollars in parts + - 100 dollars depending on ebay... it is usely 300-350 for a shop to do a swap...

It will be a huge difference!!!! My gears are a little lower than 3.73s (4.30s) but the difference is day and night. I got the gears for 134, speedo cal for 90, rear end rebuild kit 90 and the install for around 250. Definately worth it!

you say the parts are 400?
i see the gear sets for around 190...where is the 210 at? what is the rebuild kit?
and how does a speedo recalibration work?

I can do FMS gears for $190, (4.10's are a little more) a bearing rebuild kit is $80, and $200 for an install. you will have ~$20 in misc, gear lube, additive etc.

Thats out the door for $500,

Oh ya and a huge differnce.......
