    Oil change

Im now driving a 2000 F150 with the 4.6L in it, im in the process of changing the oil, is there a special tool used to get the filter off?? The space around the filter is rather tight and am having trouble getting it off. Any suggestions would be a great help, thanks. Im going back out in the garage and keep wrestling with it, thanks.

Well...you could always stab a screwdriver in it and turn, or maybe try a rubber glove.

If that doesnt work, put it in a head-lock and then into a ddt.

I got it, i used that type of filter wrench, and i had to angle the handle a bit, the space it tight in there but i got it with that, barely.

I think I just used an oil filter wrench.

Strap wrenches are too hard to get into there.

For $40 to $60 you could get a relocation kit (and replace the crap hoses with braided lines) and put it behind the bumper.

Or if you want to reduce up to 60% of wear for just that side of $200 you could get an AMSOIL dual filter relocation kit + bypass filter system (filters down below 1 micron instead of just 25 to 30 microns) and solve your problem and extend the life of your oil/engine. Pays for itself in just $89k miles in money saved in oil alone! Contact PHRANQUY for details.
