    Diablo

Went to RFR on April 9 and ran a 13.53 and was a little disappointed. I ordered a Diablo programmer today and will see what the car dyno's before and after. Does anyone know what I should expect. Brother's Performance was saying they dyno a 20-25rwhp gain but I think i'll be lucky to get 10. I already have the Steeda timing adjustor so that won't really matter. Just wondering.

Mods done so far, cold air, accufab tb and plenum, timing adjustor, pullies, bbk longtubes, x-pipe, american thunder cat back.

The predator tuner wont get you 20-25rwhp on a NA bolt, those #'s they advertise are wack.

Joe and I are both playing with our predator tuners at the moment. Joe went and had HiTech do a custom tune on their diablo software and he picked up some #'s, there is a thread somewhere around here about it.

I'm not going to spring for the custom tune so I'm going to try and pick up HP on my own with a few pulls on the dyno.

The predator tuner is a tad hard to talk about on a forum, you should just talk to me at porkys this weekend about it. I'm kinda tired.

It's good for a lot of other things then just making more power, so don't get your hopes up that your going to pickup a ton of peak hp/tq. It's great for data logging, speedo calibration (you can sell your speedcal), turning off the o2's, turning off traction control.. and so on.

Basically, you need to take the predator to a dyno.. RJR or HiTech. Get a baseline, find out where you need to add or remove fuel, do it on the predator, play with your spark, and see what the best results you can get are.

NA mod cars should be around 13.0-13.3 A/F.. that seems to be the "sweet spot". You can go higher then 13.3 if you are daring but the best results seem to be just above 13.3.

Also, make sure your predator has the latest tune version in it. Go to diablo's website for that info.

Have you ever had your air/fuel ratio checked? I'd be willing to bet that your lean right now with your mod's. I'd guess your going to be about 20-25 rwhp over stock with your mod's and a custom tune. I could be wrong since all my experiece is with a Mach 1, but that's my guess.
