    weird lurch???

a couple days ago when i was backing out of a parking spot my stang started stopping, then lurching a few inches, then stopping...and lurching. it did the same thing a couple other times, but all i had to do was put it in park or shut it off and wait a little bit and it ran just fine. ever since i think ive noticed it when driving, idiling, etc. but it might just be in my head... any ideas of whats up?

Hook your car up to an OBDII Scanner, and it will do a test on your car's computer. If there is a problem, let's say your oxygen sensor is out, the scanner will give you a code. Let's say it pulls code 13, so you look on the net and find out that code 13 is a faulty oxygen sensor. I am not sure what code 13 is, so it's used for demonstration purposes only. Understand? Do a search on OBDII and you'll see what I mean.

Is your check engine light on?

oh ok. yea i understand, no the check engine lights not on, it doesnt concern me enough at this point to take it in for a scan. but if it gets worse ill do that.

so a bad IAC seems to be the agreed problem?

the taurus like to idel at 2500 rpms every once and a while, only while its in park. is that also a problem with the IAC? and is an IAC covered under warrenty?
