welder would be nice. a sawzall works well getting the old off also.

if not welder there, just bolt it up with the clamps supplied, then drive to the exhaust shop and get it welded.

should not need a welder at all. Newer cars have the ball and socket systems. Makes it much nicer to do your exhaust.

You will need a 15 mm socket, wratchet, 15mm wrench, jack stands, hacksaw, wd 40 and a jack. Spray the rubber hanger mounts with some wd 40 so the exhaust hangers will slide out easily. I used a hacksaw to remove the old catback exhaust system, because its all welded together. You can do it, so you can save your old exhaust, but I'm not going to explain that way. Unless, you want to save your old exhaust system. Its much faster if you hacksaw your old system out.

You might need to jack the body of the car up so the pipes will fall over your axles. I'm not sure if the pipes will go over the axles without jacking the body of the car up on a GT. I know they won't for a Mach 1.

I've read about some people having problems with their magnaflow exhaust tips rattling loose. The best method I have heard for a fix was to have the tips tack welded into place. Another thing you could try, it to use some lock tight to hold the bolts in place (if you don't want to weld), but I think this would be a pita to remove the bolts after they are installed for readjustment. Lastly, you could just try and tighten down the bolts and see if you have any trouble with the tips rattling loose.

Your final step is to start the car and . The manaflow setup does sound good.
