    Who runs synthetic?

    Just figured I would post in the clubhouse where the most traffic is.

    I was thinking about switching to royal purple, now that my new motor has about 3000 miles on it. Any ideas? Any pros/cons? (Besides being expensive)
    Expect nothing less, maybe more. :idiot:

        I run synthetic. Guess I dont really tell a difference. It gets just as dirty and I change it just as often as I would non synthetic. Dunno....

          I run synthetic. Change it in april when I pull the car out, once int he middle of hte summer, and then right when I put it away. 5K is no problem for synthetic.

            My car came with Castrol synthetic from the factory which was switched to Mobil 1 right away and i have run it ever since. I do plan on switching all fluids to Royal Purple this spring.
            Buying muscle/sports cars/regular cars/trucks, send me info, I pay cash or credit card if that makes you feel better!

              Frankie gets a decent deal on amsoil, I am thinking of running with that now that I talk to him. I have to look into it a bit more, I am still undecided.

              So does it run cooler and all that good stuff? or is it all a lie?

                Well we carry RP at MAS and everyone that uses it loves it, one of the car shows pick up 8rwhp with a Camaro on the dyno by switching to it.

                        I'm running 0W30 in my car, probably gonna be running 5w20 or 5W30 in my truck.
