my new msd 6al is on the way... i should be ordering my intake this friday.. so that will be fun to install. also what shocks should i run up front, i have a coil over in front also... 90/10s?? and what brand?

That's not entirely true. Lots of guys run "unstreetable" suspension setups on the street. You just gotta bob and weave.



anyway... I would recommend some adjustable Tokicos or Konis. On the lowest setting they're pretty good for drag racing. The springs are pretty important too. With my 600 lb BBKs, my no sway bar/skinnies/loose shocks car handled great. This year I'm going to run a 275 lb coilover spring. We'll see what happens.

Just ask WUTUGOT. He has them on his car right now, and personally they aren't that bad. When I finally decide to get some new shocks, they will be a set of Tokico adjustables though.

Yep....I'm rollin with 4cyl. springs and 90/10's in the front w/out the sway bar and it's not as bad as you would think with the 17x9" wheels I'm rollin on!

i don't think you even need an msd. i had a digital 6, had to take it out to get fixed, i notice no difference in the car at all with it in or out. so i might just sell it.

I was just thinking for the features, like the timing retard at start adn what not. Handy little gadgets like that...

you're right, it does have alot of nice features. i might use the retard control for easy timing control depending on what kind of gas i'm running. it has a 2 step rev limiter too which might be nice for consistent launches etc but my car is mostly a street car so i'm not messing with that.
it's a good box but if i had to do it again i'd probably just save the money and not buy it at all.
