    why is my battery leaking out of the top?

    ok it is leaking and would that be why when i hit a bump or hit the gas hard the alt looks like it doesnt work or is it my alt going out agean(geting the battery tested but i am just wondering if it is a good thing lol)


    Currently have Teal 1994 GT 5 speed Coupe and 2010 fusion sport.

              Make sure the alternator isn't overcharging the battery, they will make it bubble out as well.

                well my whole alt and ground and that is all messed up i need someone to come and help me figir this all out some time i am going to let it sit because i have gone through 3 batteries this year and 1 alt but since i got a new way for my ground to go it has been doing better but i really need someone to look at it.

                  I don't know if there is a voltage regulator built in to the alternator or not on those cars...maybe someone else can chime in on that. But if it is seperate from the alternator that may be your problem now.

                      Dude I saw your engine last year, and I would have the whole thing rewired. Take all of that speaker crap out of there and ground it properly. Clean up all the connections and test the batt and alt. You probably have problems you dson't even see with that wire mess you have going on.
