1997 Lincoln Towncar intermittent no start

97 Towncar, usually starts. Sometimes will just crank and crank. Even with the key out of the ignition the chime will sound. If I jiggle the key cylinder a little bit it will stop chiming. Anti Theft light flashes.

I've never had this problem on a Ford. Bad key cylinder, some sort of security bullshit? Cockpushups?

Makes sense.

I just checked, there's 14 different options for a tumbler at O'Reilly all vastly dissimilar in price. Should any aftermarket tumble work?

If they still carry them the dealer is sometimes around the same price. Plus there should be a TCS discount.
(I only saz because some of the after market ones suck.)
